New to energy, or bringing energy to something new...
Whether a new energy start-up, or established OEM pivoting to develop alternative generation and storage technologies, rapid change control is a must for on-time, to-cost program management.
Meet the team
Paul Crabtree
Director, UK
Paul joined Quick Release_ after a lengthy period at university. Starting out as a data analyst in 2011, Paul has grown with the company (figuratively, not literally unfortunately) and now looks after operations in the UK. In his early days he worked on process and system development within some of our OEM clients.
More recently he worked on accelerated programmes, most notably the UK Ventilator Challenge and Project Siren, a joint venture between Ford and Venari to bring a new ambulance to the market from concept to finished vehicle in 12 months.
Julia MacFarlane
Engagement Lead
Having previously worked for various established companies, start-ups and scale-ups, Julia has 18 years' experience in Automotive project and program management.
Julia has managed several projects, ranging from one-off EV builds to new systems integration, and has more recently worked for a Fem-Tech company where she managed operational projects.
Outside of QR_, Julia continues to show her determination and strength demonstrated through her self-set challenges to run marathons, half-marathons and 10Ks.
George Creasy
Managing Director, North America
George joined QR_ in the UK after graduating in Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics and Economics from the University of Warwick in 2015. He relocated to Michigan in 2017 to help start up Quick Release_ Inc, and having overseen the US East Business Unit while also serving as account manager for the Ford North America account, he became Managing Director for North America in late 2023.
George's areas of expertise are BoM Validation, Prototype Builds and Launch Operations. He splits his time between supporting clients across the Midwest and California, and spends his time outside of work bemoaning the lack of public transportation and football (soccer) in the States.
Matthew Tickner
Senior Service Manager
Matthew joined Quick Release_'s Service Offerings team in 2023 with 8 years of previous experience in automotive and EV start-ups.
Matthew is a specialist in Variant Configuration Management, but he has a wide range of Product Data Management experience and is always happy to offer his opinions on how best to get stuff done.
Matthew's education was in environment and earth sciences, and to this day he is passionate about tackling the challenges of climate change and plastic waste so we can leave the world a better place for future generations.
